US President Donald Trump (R) greets US Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts (L) as he arrives to deliver the State of the Union address at the US Capitol in Washington, DC, on February 4, 2020. US President Donald Trump on March 20, 2025 demanded that the Supreme Court stop judges from blocking his agenda, stepping up a fight after a judge sought to block his summary deportations. 'STOP NATIONWIDE INJUNCTIONS NOW, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE,' Trump wrote in a Truth Social post aimed at Chief Justice John Roberts, who had rebuked the president for calling to impeach the judge in the immigration case.
Mye tyder på at høyesterettsjustitiarius John Glover Roberts vil spille en nøkkelrolle for det amerikanske demokratiets fremtid. Her: Roberts og Donald Trump før den årlige «State of the Union»-talen, Washington 4. februar.
